Victor Harbor Group of the Country Fire Service will host an open day on Sunday 19 May for anyone interested in finding out about the CFS.

The group is made up of four south coast brigades: Hindmarsh Valley; Lower Inman Valley; Waitpinga; and Victor Operations Support.

The open day will be held at Lower Inman Valley, on Watson Road, from 10am to 2pm.

There will be firefighting demonstrations, operational demonstrations of fire trucks, a free sausage sizzle and a visit from Smokey the Bear.

Potential volunteers and people of all ages interested in discovering more about what the CFS does are all welcome.
