The Victor Harbor Christmas Pageant will return to its big street parade format this year, on the evening of Saturday 10 December.
Last year the pageant was held in limited form at the Victor Harbor Harness Racing Club, due to COVID safety restrictions.
There will be a different route to previous pageants, which made their way down Ocean Street, the main street, to Warland Reserve.
Victor Harbor Rotary Club President Michael May posted to Facebook that this year the pageant would travel along Flinders parade and end near the King street intersection.
“I am looking forward to welcoming everyone back to the Christmas Pageant on the streets of Victor Harbor.”
He said the new route was designed to maximise the safety of pageant performers and spectators and minimise disruption to Ocean Street traders in a very busy time of year.
“The pageant is a great community event which brings many tourists to town to enjoy all that Victor has to offer.”
The pageant parade will start at around 5.30pm and will be followed by Christmas Carols at Soldiers Memorial Gardens.
