As summer wanes it’s time to turn up the heat at the annual Chilli Fest Willunga on 19 and 20 February.
Celebrate all things chilli, with growers and producers inspired by their love of chillies, selling sauces, jams, pastes, pickles, condiments, oils and plants.
Presentations and cooking demonstrations will reveal the history and origins of chillies here and around the world and show how to make the best of them.
A variety of ‘hot’ foods will be available and visitors can chill Out with live music, local beer, wine and sangria in the beer garden.
The Artisan Market will supply local colour, with chilli inspired cards, clothing, jewellery and chopping boards.
Chilli Fest Willunga is hosted by the Willunga Recreation Park as a fundraiser for this facility.
There is still time to enter the great chilli cook off, with entries closing 31 January.
Tickets are $10, available from TryBooking. For more information go to the website or Facebook page.
