Chill out at the Freefall Festival

Freefall Festival is an intimate music festival in Hindmarsh Valley, near Victor Harbor, which will showcase some of Adelaide’s best food, drink and of course, music.

It will be on Saturday 7 December on the grounds of the Hindmarsh Valley Hall, kicking off at 4.30pm.

The event will feature So.Crates, Eraser Description, Abraska, Eliza Dickson and Matt Holland.

Sponsored by Next Crop Wines, Freefall is about relaxing and letting go of your worries. Tickets are $50, available on Moshtix.

A fully licensed event for over 18s, local legends Swell Brew Co will pour a selection of beer and cider with Next Crop offering some of their finest wines.

Victor Harbor locals CHIEF Catering will serve up a variety of western style eats such as burgers and hot dogs. Vegetarians and vegans should not fret as there will be food that everyone can enjoy.

All food and beverages will come in packaging that is either recyclable or compostable; Freefall Festival aims to have zero single use plastic on-site.

Arrive in the late afternoon and watch the sunset behind the beautiful landscape of Hindmarsh Valley whilst listening to your favourite local bands. Freefall aims to create an intimate experience between artists and fans.

Matthew Adams and Peter Mitchell, who have a mutual love for supporting local music, created Freefall Festival. The pair is fond of genres such as jazz, soul, funk and rap, which they feel is at times underrepresented in Adelaide.

This passion for local music and desire to see it flourish birthed the creation of Freefall; a regional festival that focuses on local talent in these genres.
