Watch out for the tinsel and mistletoe at the Victor Harbor Artisan Market and the Rotary Goolwa Wharf market tomorrow, Sunday 19 December.

Whether you're searching for last minute Christmas gifts or wanting to enjoy a vibrant community atmosphere ahead of the festive rush, the markets are where to be.

The Artisan Market will be held on Ocean Street, with more than 70 stalls showcasing quality handmade products from local artists and creators.

The main street will be closed to traffic between Coral Street and Albert Place from 6.30am to 5pm.

From 9am, guests will be welcome to explore market stalls, experience live entertainment, and taste a range of delectable foods.

Those who are feeling lucky can participate in a free Christmas raffle, and word on the street is that the VIP guest, with his big beard and red suit, will visit at 2pm.

With Christmas Day and New Year’s Day both falling on a Saturday this season, the Victor Harbor Farmers’ Market will take a break until Saturday 8 January.

To help fill the gap a twilight market will be held on Wednesday 22 December, from 4pm to 7pm in Grosvenor Gardens.

Farm fresh produce, Christmas goodies, and live music will feature on the evening.

The Goolwa Wharf market will be open on Boxing Day, Sunday 26 December, from 9am to 3pm, as well as throughout January.
