It is almost November and Christmas is just around the corner.
Alexandrina Council has a smorgasbord of Christmas events and activities planned for December and has announced a list of those confirmed so far.
First up is the chance to shop local at the twilight Community Christmas Market in Mount Compass on Friday 2 December.
Get in good voice for Carols in the Park in the Port Elliot Town Square on Tuesday 13 December.
Christmas Where the Angas Flows is always a highlight of the season in Strathalbyn, with a pageant and carols in Soldier’s Memorial Gardens on Friday 16 December. For further information visit the Facebook page.
The carols continue in Goolwa when the Rotary Club of Goolwa again hosts a Christmas concert at the Goolwa Oval Recreation Precinct on Sunday 18 December.
Keep an eye on local shop windows during the whole month of December for those participating in the Alexandrina Mayor's Best Dressed Shop Window Competition.
Shops will create eye catching fairy light displays that highlight the joyous spirit of the festive season. The winners will be announced on the council website and in social media.
