Cinema hosts charity fundraisers

The Victa Cinema will host two special charity events in coming weeks to raise funds for very good causes.

The first is the premiere screening of A Fire Inside on Friday September 17.

This documentary tells the story of Australia’s ‘Black Summer’ bushfires from the point of view of those who experienced them.

A Fire Inside presents an inspirational look at the way people respond to crisis and its true cost to the human spirit.

The premiere screening will be at 7pm; tickets cost $20, with a donation from all ticket sold going to Lifeline.

The ticket price includes a snack pack of a Bickfords drink, Giant Twin ice cream and Red Rock Deli chips.

The second event is the rescheduled Army Band Concert on Sunday October 10 in aid of Legacy.

The Australian Army Band Adelaide presents a variety program of theatre, jazz, light classic, and contemporary music, suitable for the entire family.

The event at 2pm is proudly supported by Country Arts SA and the City of Victor Harbor, with proceeds providing much needed support to the families of veterans.

All tickets are $20 with pre booking essential as tickets are limited. Book online or at the Victa Cinema Box Office.
