City-to-country romance author talk

Australian author Léonie Kelsall will discuss her new novel, The Farm at Peppertree Crossing, at Victor Harbor library.

Leonie will be in conversation with Carla Caruso on Thursday 18 February from 6pm to 7.30pm.

Her book has been described as a captivating story of family, friendship and forgiveness from a brilliant new voice in rural romance.

With an unexpected inheritance, a traumatic past and a family whose secrets are kept by the town, it is the tale of city-girl Roni, who leaves Sydney for an 800-acre property on the edge of the wheat fields of South Australia.

Léonie is a registered Professional Counsellor with a private practice.

She has worked as a museum guide and historical interpreter, and in the state Education Department.

Having offloaded most of her children on adventures of their own, for the last two years she has dedicated herself to writing.

This is a free event, but bookings are required via Eventbrite.

Books will be available for purchase and signing thanks to South Seas Books and Trading Co.
