Southern Hills Netball Association - A1 Grand Final
Clarendon has continued their domination of the Southern Hills Netball Association with a tough 41-36 victory over Pulse in the Grand Final at Kangarilla on Saturday. Minor premier Pulse had defeated Clarendon in their semi-final clash by three goals forcing Clarendon to come through the Preliminary Final against Aldinga to force a rematch of the 2018 decider. It was a tight opening term with Clarendon taking a 13-11 lead into the first change. They extended their lead out to five goals at half-time and after a strong third quarter the lead had blown out to nine goals at the last change with the score at 34-25 in Clarendon’s favour. Pulse hit back hard in the final stanza but Clarendon held on to win 41-36. Pulse entered the decider as a slight favourite having defeated Clarendon on three occasions in 2019 but Clarendon’s finals pedigree shone through on the day.
