Clarendon has shown the Southern Hills Netball Association (SHNA) that they are not a spent force as they defeated reigning premier Pulse 42-38 to join Pulse on 10 points after seven rounds. The loss meant Pulse lost top spot on the ladder after Kangarilla defeated Croweaters 62-37 at home. In the other game of round seven, Seaford Storm won their third game of the season with a 58-53 win against McLaren Flat.
In the A2 competition, Noarlunga remained undefeated after a comprehensive 67-29 win at Meadows against Valley Vikings. In other games, Clarendon won their third game of 2021 following their 46-28 victory over Port Noarlunga, while McLaren Flat defeated Southern Stars 56-32.
The competition will pause next weekend for the Queen’s birthday holiday and resume on the 19th of June.
