Clarendon defeated McLaren Flat 47-44 to win a thrilling Southern Hills Netball Association (SHNA) A1 Grand Final at Karingal Reserve on Saturday. Clarendon overcame a seven-goal defeat in week one of the finals at the hands of McLaren Flat to win the decider.
In the other senior grades, McLaren Flat defeated Clarendon (Purple) 49-41 to win A2, Seaford Storm won a thrilling B1 decider 48-46 over Clarendon, Clarendon (Black) won the B2 title after defeating Southern Stars (Red) 43-34, Meadows (Gold) had a 45-35 win against Kangarilla in the C1’s, while in the C2’s, McLaren Flat won 27-22 against Clarendon.
The nine junior premierships were shared between six clubs. Clarendon, McLaren Flat, Noarlunga, Seaford Storm and Kangarilla all won one flag, while Southern Stars had a day out taking home four pennants.
