The annual Coastrek Fleurieu Peninsula charity walk will take place on Friday 6 September.

This year’s fundraising goal is $350,000 for the Heart Foundation, with more than $240,000 raised so far.

The iconic hiking and walking challenge sells out every year and this year the teams have two options, either 20km or 35km from Parsons Beach to Port Elliot.

SA Police have approved temporary road restrictions for the event at Cutting Road car park in Port Elliot.

A section of the car park will be closed temporarily between 7am and 7pm on Friday 6 September.
