Native bees and other pollinating insects will be the subject of a workshop at the Yankalilla Community Garden on Tuesday 23 January.
Led by the Adelaide Pollination Project, the session will tell all about the native pollinators of South Australia and plant some insect attracting native and garden plants.
There will be native bee craft activities for the younger children and the older ones can have a go at screen printing T-shirts with a Native Bees of SA design.
It is BYO light coloured T-shirt or tote bag to have a go at the screen printing activity.
The Yankalilla Community Garden is located in Yankalilla Youth Park, on Main South Road.
The workshop will run from 9am to 11am and costs $5 per person, with kids under 5 years old free. Book via Humanitix.
