Budding gardeners who want to grow their own veggies but are not sure where to start can find out all about it on Saturday 2 April.
City of Onkaparinga’s Community Connections team will offer a hands on workshop - Starting Your Patch – at the Aldinga Community Garden.
Gardeners of all levels are welcome to go along and learn about establishing a food producing garden.
The workshop will delve into different permaculture design techniques to establish a food-producing space, including bed preparation, planting and responding to feedback from your garden.
It runs from 10am to 12 noon and costs $6 – book tickets via Eventbrite.
