The Alexandrina Council grants program opens today, 1 February, with funding available across seven categories.

The council says it endeavours to financially support a range of projects and activities that contribute towards a Liveable, Green and Connected Alexandrina and support local communities to thrive.

The purpose of the program is to encourage eligible community groups, businesses and individuals to take an active and visible role in creating opportunities for community participation.  

Funding is made available each year to support a wide range of projects.

Applications for Community Wellbeing, Community Environment and Business Initiatives grants close on 1 March.

Local Heritage, Community Events and Vibrant Communities grant applications close 30 April or when funds have been exhausted.

Applications for the council’s Youth Sponsorship Program close 31 May or when funds have been exhausted.
