Friends of Granite Island will hold a community planting day for active people and families on Friday 21 July.

It will include a planting session of local natives from 9am to 10.30am and expert workshops on penguins and local marine life from 11am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 3pm.

It’s BYO lunch from 12.30pm to 1.30pm and everyone who helps on the day will receive a $5 thankyou voucher for the Island Cafe.

Friends of Granite Island is a community-based organisation involving volunteers that share a common interest in, and commitment to, improving the natural environment of the Granite Island Recreation Park
