The McLaren Vale Business and Tourism Association is set to host two exciting events this December, celebrating the region's rich traditions and vibrant community spirit.

McLaren Vale Christmas Pageant – December 1, 2024

The beloved McLaren Vale Christmas Pageant returns on December 1, thanks to the generous support of local businesses. Main Road will transform into a festive wonderland, with colorful floats, lively music, and plenty of holiday cheer.

A section of Main Road will be closed for the event, giving locals and visitors the perfect opportunity to line the streets and revel in this cherished tradition. Organized by locals for the community, the pageant celebrates togetherness and the joyous spirit of the season.

Special recognition goes to Ellis Butcher, this year’s Gold Sponsor, for their continued support in making this event possible.

Mix n Jingle Networking Event – December 4, 2024

On December 4, the Association’s popular monthly networking series culminates in the festive Mix n Jingle event. Open to everyone, this end-of-year celebration combines community reflection with the magic of the holiday season.

A highlight of the evening will be the announcement of the 2024 Bushing Monarchs, a tradition that honors the winemakers of the ‘Best Wine of Show’ at the McLaren Vale Wine Show. Since 1973, the names of Bushing Monarchs have been immortalized along Main Road with commemorative pavers. This year, Alexia Roberts and Paul Carpenter of Penny’s Hill take the crown, celebrating their excellence and contributions to McLaren Vale's winemaking legacy.

The evening promises music, food, and a chance to gather as a community to look back on a remarkable year.
