City of Onkaparinga has opened its annual community survey, with a chance to win a shopping voucher for those who take part.

The council says the survey provides a vital snapshot of the region and helps it understand what’s important to the community.

Feedback received helps to plan delivery of services across the district, which goes beyond roads and rubbish to encompass parks and reserves, cultural diversity and heritage and the local economy.

The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete and offers the chance to win one of five $100 Drakes vouchers. It will remain open until Thursday 23 October.
