World record whip cracker Nathan ‘Whippy’ Griggs will perform at the Mount Compass oval on the evening of Wednesday 17 January.

Mount Compass Sports and Social Club will host a free family fun event from 5.30pm.

There will be a mechanical bull competition, face painting, a petting zoo, lawn games and live music from Rob Elliot.

The whipcracking show from the Guinness World Record Holder will be on around 8pm.

The local netball, football, cricket and tennis clubs have joined forces to ensure food and drinks will be available for purchase and the bar will be open.
