Artist and storyteller Libby Tozer will offer a free workshop at Strathalbyn Library Community Room on Monday 27 October as part of the Wellness in Nature project.
"Bring a vase that holds a story—and take part in a gentle, nature-based flower arranging session focused on creativity, connection, and conversation,” Libby says.
“Together, we’ll explore simple arranging techniques, the meanings behind common blooms, and which flowers are edible (or not).
“This workshop is about more than creating something beautiful—it’s about rediscovering creativity, embracing imperfection, and connecting with nature and each other.
“Nature is wild, uneven, and full of character—and your arrangement will be too. That’s the beauty of it."
The ‘Flowers from Home to Home’ session will run from 10am to 12noon; reserve a place via Humanitix.
This program is funded through an Age Friendly SA Grant from Office for Ageing Well as part of the Wellness in Nature Project run by Alexandrina Council.
