Flinders University is asking people how they connect with Onkaparinga beaches, as part of a research study.

The College of Science and Engineering is interested in better understanding people's connection to the beach to find ways to improve enjoyment and preserve the environment.

The short How Do You Connect with the Beach? survey takes around seven minutes to complete and can be found online.

It asks specifically about beaches in the City of Onkaparinga, including Aldinga, Christies, Maslin, Moana, O'Sullivan, Port Noarlunga, Port Willunga, Seaford, Sellicks, Silver Sands and South Port.

Any questions about the research can be directed to the research team by email. 

The Onkaparinga council is facilitating the survey and will publish the results on its website.
