Langhorne Creek Football Club will host the next Alexandrina Village Conversation about Langhorne Creek, Woodchester and Hartley.

It will take place at the club on Murray Road on Wednesday 25 August from 5.45pm to 8pm.

The Langhorne Creek, Woodchester, Hartley Village Conversations are for anyone who loves the area: residents, business owners, property owners and neighbours are all welcome to attend.

Alexandrina Council wants to discover ideas that will help Langhorne Creek, Woodchester and Hartley thrive in a liveable, green and connected district.

The event will be facilitated to provide the opportunity to share ideas with council staff, participate in different activities to provide your vision for

Langhorne Creek and its surrounds, ideas and then contribute to a discussion.

Children are also welcome to attend and enjoy some simple activities in the kids’ corner.

The annual Village Conversations are part of a new approach to how council works with the community under its A2040 Community Strategic Plan.

The information gathered will influence council decisions on asset management and allocation of resources.

It will also provide the foundation for each township’s unique Village Innovation Plan, to be delivered by 2024.
