The City of Onkaparinga is reviewing the way it communicates with the community and is asking for input on how to do it better.
It will run three separate public surveys on having a say, being informed and customer experience.
The first survey, asking people how they want to provide feedback to the council, is currently open.
A new Community Engagement Charter means that South Australian councils are required to adopt a Community Engagement Policy by 11 September 2026.
It will cover how the council engages and communicates with the public; how community feedback is provided and shared; and ways the council can make engagement more inclusive and accessible.
A community drop in session will be held at Aldinga Library on Thursday 12 March from 10am to 1pm.
Find out more about the Community Engagement Policy and complete the survey on the City of Onkaparinga website.
The deadline to complete the survey is 15 March.
