City of Victor Harbor is offering two traineeship opportunities to young people interested in a career in tourism or conservation.
A business traineeship with a tourism focus is a full time role that will lead to a Certificate III in Business.
The successful trainee will support the council’s marketing projects and daily operations of its Visitor Centre, located in the South Australian Whale Centre.
Year 10 students with a genuine passion for the environment can apply for a conservation and ecosystem management traineeship.
This will involve working with the council for one day a week while achieving a Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management.
The traineeships are offered through Statewide Apprenticeships, with applications closing Saturday 17 February.
