The customer service team is back operating from the District Council of Yankalilla main office at on Charles Street, Yankalilla from today, Wednesday 13 July.
The civic centre has been closed since late April while the heating, cooling, and ventilation systems were replaced at a cost of $303,450.
Front of house operations temporarily shifted to the Fleurieu Coast Visitor Centre on Main South Road for the duration for safety reasons.
Only EFTPOS facilities were available at this site, but cash payments will now be able to be processed again.
Council meetings will also return to the civic centre in August, following a ‘town hall tour’ through the region. The next council meeting will be at 4pm on Tuesday 19 July at Club Fleurieu.
The library service will continue to temporarily operate from the Fleurieu Coast Visitor Centre while the district’s new library is built.
Both services will operate Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
