The City of Victor Harbor has warned residents to never divulge any sensitive personal or financial information to suspicious callers.

The council wants to raise awareness of a current telephone scam that involves a caller pretending to be from the Council and claiming to be conducting a 'survey' about residents.

The City of Victor Harbor is not currently conducting a survey of this nature.
