Members of the Willunga Primary School community and Willunga Football Club have tested positive to COVID-19.
Willunga Primary Principal Melanie Jones sent a letter to parents today to advise them that members of the school community have tested positive to the virus.
Friday’s whole school assembly has been identified as a close contact exposure site and will be listed on the SA Health website later today.
She says SA Health has advised that all students, parents, staff and carers who attended the assembly must immediately quarantine and have a COVID-19 test as soon as possible.
The letter also says SA Health will be contacting close or casual contacts to provide more information shortly.
The school’s Out of School Hours Care service will be closed tomorrow to allow for cleaning and contact tracing to occur.
Members of the Willunga Football Club have been advised that a player who attended training on Wednesday night has also tested positive. Players have been advised to isolate and get tested.
