There have been 2,047 new cases of COVID-19 reported in South Australia today. There are currently 18,363 active cases in South Australia.
Sadly, SA Health can confirm a woman in her 60s and a man in his 80s, who tested positive for COVID- 19, have passed away.
There are 106 people with COVID-19 in hospital, including nine people in ICU, and one person requiring a ventilator. Of those hospitalised, 63 people are fully vaccinated, 21 people are either unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, and 22 have an unknown vaccination status.

Yesterday, 10,898 people received a PCR test in South Australia, which is an 8.6% decrease on the previous 24 hours. Of the test results returned yesterday, 1,518 PCR tests were positive, while 529 positive Rapid Antigen Test results were reported.
Currently 94.7% of eligible South Australians aged 12+ have received their first dose of the vaccine and 92% have received their second dose. Boosters have been administered to 68.6% of eligible South Australians and 57.2% of South Australians aged 16+.
