As the COVID pandemic rolls into its third year and the Omicron variant of the disease rips through the state, cancellation of community events is again on the rise.
The latest casualty of social distancing restrictions is the Port Elliot Vinyl Fair, which had been scheduled for Saturday 8 January.
What would have been the fourth annual event for old-style record collectors was to have been held at the rear of the Jetty Food Store from 9.30am to 2.30pm.
Organisers announced the cancellation on Facebook, saying safety concerns meant they had no choice.
The event has been rescheduled for 7 January 2023.
