Victor Harbor library will host a workshop on how to grow a sustainable garden that attracts native wildlife on Wednesday 12 June.
It will be led by Alan Shepard, who brings many years of practical experience in establishing community, school and organic gardens.
He says in urban areas the choices we make with our garden designs, types of plants and sustainable practices can attract native wildlife to both front and back yards.
“Let's bring back the butterflies, insects, birds, frogs, micro-bats and skinks.”
The workshop will run from 2pm to 3.30pm and is free to attend. Book a place online.
