Cybercrime experts from SAPOL will again visit the Victor Harbor library on Tuesday 24 October as part of Cyber Security Month.

Sergeant David Mitchell and  Lauren Degabrielle from the Cybercrime Prevention department of South Australia Police will discuss how to protect yourself online.

Topics covered will include:

• The latest scam methods and prevention tactics.
• Respectful online relationships.
• Treading carefully with your digital footprint.
• Phishing, smishing and vishing red flags.
• Reporting and supporting agencies.

Knowledge is power and this is a great opportunity to pick up some crime prevention tips to assist in reducing online risk.

Sergeant David Mitchell has more than 20 years policing experience, spending the last three years in the Cybercrime Training and Prevention space.
