Victor Harbor’s CBD will literally light up with its biggest ever street party kicking off at 4pm today, Friday 2 December.
From Ocean street to the Railway Plaza to the Causeway and Warland Reserve, there will be entertainment and shopping in all shapes and sizes, plus Father Christmas will be dropping in.
The official opening and a smoking ceremony will take place at Warland Reserve at 5pm.
At 5.30pm there will be an official launch of the artwork 'Connection' by Matt Turley on Railway Plaza.
Also at Railway Plaza will be the Victor Harbor Artisan Market, with 50 stalls, demonstrations and live music, from 4pm to 8pm.
There will be twilight rides on the Horse Drawn Tram between 4pm and 6pm, followed by body builder Brooke Mellor pulling the Horse Tram along the Causeway.
In Ocean Street there will be free face painting, a petting zoo, community stalls and roving performers.
A DJ, lawn games and a classic car display are just a few of the many attractions on Albert place.
Finally, as the sun goes down, the art work 'Phosphorescence' by Marijana Tadic will officially launch as it lights up the sky.
