Two drivers have been fined following an investigation by Victor Harbor Highway patrol.
About 1.30pm on Monday 12 May, dashcam footage captured a Kia sedan and Renault van dangerously overtaking a large truck driving along Goolwa Road, Currency Creek.
During this incident a Holden SUV travelling in the opposite direction was forced off the road. Thankfully the driver of the Holden was not injured.
Following an investigation, a 24-year-old man from Edwardstown and a 36-year-old-man from Flagstaff were each issued with fines totalling $1030 and 4 demerit points.
South Australia Police say they remain focussed on reducing lives lost on South Australian roads and will not tolerate unsafe road behaviour.
Anyone who witnesses unsafe driving is urged to contact police immediately by calling 131 444.
