Orange-bellied Parrots will be the subject of the first event of the year for the Goolwa to Wellington Local Action Planning Association Inc.
The information session will be held on Thursday 27 January at the Goolwa Regatta Yacht Club at 7pm.
In May last year a pair of the critically endangered birds were spotted on Hindmarsh Island.
This was the first confirmed sighting in South Australia since 2013, which gave hope for their survival.
At the info session Bob Green will talk about these beautiful, vulnerable birds and how to potentially spot them.
The well-spaced, covid-safe event is supported by the Hills and Fleurieu Landscape Board.
Registrations are essential to Jacqui at Goolwa to Wellington Local Action Planning Association via email or 0400 036 843.
