Victor Harbor library is offering the opportunity to try a virtual reality (VR) experience on Friday 8 September, as part of Adult Learners’ Week.
The library has recently acquired two pairs of VR goggle as part of a grant from LibrariesSA.
VR is a computer-generated simulation of a three-dimensional image or environment, that can come to life using VR Goggles.
Librarian Ben will lead small group sessions lasting 30 minutes to give a taste of the VR experience.
The sessions are free to attend and can be booked via Eventbrite.
Adult Learners’ Week runs from 1-8 September with the theme of It’s never too late to learn!
There are events on in Fleurieu libraries all week, such as Introduction to 3D Design at Aldinga; Artificial Intelligence at Noarlunga; and eBooks at Goolwa.
