A concept plan for a Langhorne Creek Discovery Trail has been developed and is now available for community feedback.
The vision is to create a trail that provides interesting and accessible ways for visitors and locals to access wineries, attractions and parks safely on foot and by bicycle.
Alexandrina Council says creating a discovery trail will enhance the visitor experience, increase local community access, and encourage tourism in an environmentally sensitive way.
It would incorporate a multi-use pathway with interpretive signage and could include cellar door visits, tours, indigenous and nature-based experiences, bike hire and local history.
The concept plan can be viewed on the My Say Alexandrina page, where a survey can also be submitted.
The consultation period ends at 5pm on Friday 15 March and collated feedback will be presented to the council on 20 May.
