Anyone involved in a sports or recreation club within the City of Victor Harbor or who has ideas for the development of recreation and sport in the area is invited to attend the first Sport and Recreation Forum.

It will be held at the Victor Harbor Football and RSL Club on Wednesday, 14 October from 6pm to 8pm.

This is an interactive forum enabling people to network with others, learn about grant funding opportunities and find out tips for preparing clubs to take advantage of these opportunities.

A representative from the Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing’s Funding Services team will attend to present on the latest funding opportunities and will provide tips for completing grant applications.

Chris Halstead, a Strategic Trail Planning Specialist, will also share insights into the extensive work he has done developing exciting and sustainable trail experiences for communities across the country.
