Community consultation sessions on planning the future of Cape Jervis and Myponga will be held in July.
The meetings form part of the District Council of Yankalilla’s focus on local issues and planning for the two townships.
They follow initial conversations between several local groups and consultant Ben Cunningham in each place during April.
The council says the input received was valuable in helping to frame the next step in the process and it is now keen to connect as broadly as possible.
It invites the community to drop in and have a chat with the council team and share any thoughts for the future of each township.
The Myponga session will be held at Myponga Memorial Hall on Tuesday 11 July, from 5pm to 7pm. More information can be found online.
The Cape Jervis session will be held at the Community Recreation & Sporting Club on Sunday 16 July, from 1pm to 3pm. More information can be found online.
There will also be a meeting in Normanville to discuss community land management plan amendments and public electrical vehicle charging stations as part of the National Charging Network.
It will be held on Thursday 13 July on the Village Green from 11am to 1pm.
