The Dogs' Day Out art show scheduled for Port Elliot’s Lakala Reserve on Sunday 15 March has been cancelled due to concerns about the coronavirus (COVID- 19).

Organisers plan to replace it with a safer online dog-themed art show and a Dogs' Day Out raffle.

Tomorrow's Goolwa Wharf market has also been cancelled, in keeping with the social restriction guidelines advised by Australian health authorities.

As at 6.30am this morning, 14 March, there were 197 confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Australia, with 16 cases in South Australia. Three people have died.

To help slow the spread, the Australian government has advised, effective from Monday 16 March, organised, non-essential gatherings should be limited to 500 people.
