A driver has lost her licence for a drink driving offence overnight.

About 12.20am on Wednesday 30 November, police stopped a vehicle on Aldinga Beach Road, Aldinga Beach for a mobile driver test.  The driver, a 50-year-old Aldinga Beach woman, recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.100 - double the legal limit.

She was reported for drink driving and issued with a six month instant loss of licence.  Her car was impounded for 28 days, and she will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
