The Books and Words group will host a special springtime nature event, Spring Haiku Dreaming, this Thursday 29 September.
Enjoy a day out in native woodland at Yaitya-kauwingga Sanctuary, Delamere and experience spring through the senses.
Haiku is a type of short form poetry originally from Japan; a traditional haiku has only three lines with a total of 17 syllables – five, seven and five.
It also contains a seasonal reference and the Spring Haiku Dreaming day aims to find inspiration for writing haiku.
The event will run from 10am to 4pm; the cost is $10 per person, and take a plate to share for lunch.
Book a place online or via the Fleurieu Coast visitor centre.
