The South Coast Regional Art Centre will feature the Dridan Collection in an exhibition that opens tomorrow, 13 February and runs until 13 March.
David Dridan OAM has generously donated a substantial collection of artworks to Alexandrina Council.
Some are his own pieces, tracking a prolific career dedicated to depicting his beloved and diverse Australian landscape, and some are his acquisitions of other artists’ work.
Mr Dridan is known mainly for his landscape painting, using oil, featuring many local scenes.
A viticulturist and co-founder of the Fleurieu Art Prize, he lives and works in Strathalbyn.
The South Coast Regional Art Centre, in Goolwa, is open Wednesday to Friday 11am to 4pm and weekends 10am to 4pm.
