A woman has been reported for drink driving after colliding with a pedestrian at Hallett Cove.
Just before 7pm on Saturday 19 July, police were called to Ramrod Avenue after reports a Mitsubishi SUV struck a pedestrian.
A 49-year-old woman from Flagstaff Hill sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics before being further assessed at hospital.
The driver was breath tested and allegedly produced a blood alcohol reading of 0.246, almost five times the legal limit.
A baby was in the car at the time of the incident.
A 27-year-old woman from Sheidow Park was reported for drink driving, issued with a twelve-month instant loss of licence and her car was impounded. She will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
