A man has lost his licence for a year after he was caught drink-driving at Seaford.
It will be alleged that about 1.25am today (Thursday 11 January), police stopped a Holden sedan on Barbados Drive for the purpose of a random driver test.
The driver, a 27-year-old Seaford Rise man underwent a breath test and returned a positive reading of 0.186.
A further search of the vehicle uncovered four small bags containing cannabis.
The man was reported for drink-driving, he was issued a 12-month immediate loss of licence notice and his car was impounded for 28 days. He was also issued a fine for cannabis possession.
He will receive a summons to appear in court at a later date.
