An alleged drink driver has lost his licence after crashing into a parked car overnight at Victor Harbor.
Just after 9pm, Tuesday 6 December, patrols were called to Canterbury Road, following calls that a Hyundai SUV had crashed into a parked car which propelled it into a second car before the driver of the Hyundai left the scene.
Patrols located the driver a short distance away and breath tested him. He returned an alleged blood alcohol reading of 0.215 - more than four times the legal limit. The 44-year-old from Victor Harbor, was reported for drink driving and leaving the scene of an accident and will be summonsed to appear in court at a date to be set.
He was also issued with a 12 month immediate loss of licence.
