A driver lost her licence for 12 months after being caught drink driving at Aldinga Beach overnight.

Police pulled the driver over for a mobile driver test on Quinliven Road, Aldinga Beach about 12.30am on Saturday 15 November.

The driver, a 60-year-old Aldinga Beach woman, recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.178 - more than three times the legal limit.

She was reported for drink driving and issued with a 12-month instant loss of licence.  Her vehicle was impounded for 28 days and she will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
