A driver has been caught with an extremely high blood alcohol reading after he was caught at Mount Jagged yesterday afternoon.
It will be alleged that about 3.30pm on Sunday 14 January, an off-duty police officer saw a black BMW driving erratically on Victor Harbor Road.
Patrols were called to the area and stopped the car soon after.
The driver, a 60-year-old man from Toorak Gardens underwent a breath test and returned a positive reading of 0.319.
He was reported for drink-driving, he was issued a 12-month immediate loss of licence notice and his car was impounded for 28 days.
He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
