A woman has been arrested after drugs were found at her Strathalbyn home.

Police will allege that about 10.30am yesterday (Thursday 11 November), local police along with the assistance of a police dog searched the property, locating methamphetamine and cannabis along with drug paraphernalia.

The 38-year-old woman was charged with trafficking a controlled drug and possess controlled drug. She was also charged with assault from an unrelated matter.

She was bailed to appear in the Mount Barker Magistrates Court on 15 December.
