A drink driver has been reported after he crashed into a pole at Kingscote last night.
Just before 10pm on Monday 10 May, police were called to Kohinoor Road after a Holden station wagon collided with a stobie pole. The driver attempted to continue driving when he saw police arrive despite having no front passenger wheel.
The man was breath tested and allegedly produced a blood alcohol reading of 0.144, almost three times the legal limit.
A 23-year-old man from Eden Hills was reported for drink driving and aggravated driving without due care. He was also issued with a twelve month instant loss of licence and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
