Fleurieu police have detected two drivers committing traffic offences over the weekend.


About 10.40pm on Saturday, Normanville police stopped a 70-year-old man from Port Victoria on Jetty Road. He allegedly produced a blood alcohol reading of 0.131. He was reported for drink driving and issued with a six month instant loss of licence for six month. He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.


On Sunday 11 April, Mt Barker police reported a 24-year-old Hallett Cove man over a crash that occurred on 24 January at Macclesfield Road, Macclesfield. Results of the man’s blood test indicated that he had a blood alcohol reading of 0.192 at the time of the crash. He was issued with a twelve month instant loss of licence and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
